Industrial Visit
The School of Commerce and Management students of Shri Venkateshwara University, visited the Hero Group at Haridwar Industrial Area on February 2018.Such type of activities are very useful in management courses. It helps students to gain hands-on experience of, how industry operations are executed. Industry visit bridges the gap between the theoretical and practical aspects in real time environment. The students were taken to the plant to make them understand the work environment. It was followed by the presentation from the manager of the plant and interactive session. The students were given a warm see-off with snacks and tea. This visit has helped students to broaden the outlooks with exposure to different departments. These kinds of practical exposure is a part of the curriculum of the University
First of all I would like to thanku for Hon'ble Chancellor sir for their moral support and permission for the visit. The industrial visit's success is a big achievement for school of commerce and management. It is done only because of supportive authorities and management students of shri Venkateshwara university. Industrial visits to students is a pathway. The industrial visit also provides an insight on how companies work and also useful information related to the practical aspects of the course which cannot be visualized in lectures.
